March 10, 1926 - December 25, 2013 (Age 87)
Resident of San Jose, CA
Born in Monticello, IA to Henry and Mary Ohe; eldest of four siblings. Served in the US Navy from 1943-1946. Charles was awarded the Bronze Star with the combat "V" and Purple Heart for his courageous actions in combat and wounds incurred when the USS Alpine was attacked on 11/18/44.
After military service, he was employed at the US Postal Service as an automotive mechanic for 19 yrs.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa Ohe, daughters Brenda (Norman) Stanberry, Peggy (Ed) Moreno, Delores Harding (sister) and Robert Ohe (brother). Also stepchildren: Linda Moya, Brenda Reinke, and Stacy Sharpe along with eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at Calvary Chapel @ 2pm. Final resting place will be at the International Order of Odd Fellows Cemetery, Orland, CA. 95963
