Gale F. Morelock died at home in Clovis, CA on Feb. 6, 2014.
Gale was born in Waterloo, Iowa on Dec. 24, 1925. He lived there until he completed school at age 17 and enlisted in the Navy. Gale was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a graduate of San Jose State with a BA in Accounting and a MA in Education. He was a teacher, a coach, and an administrator in the Fremont High School district for 30 years. He was also an active member of Rotary Foundation in Cupertino and Placerville for 20 years.
Upon retirement he and his wife of 59 years, JoAnne moved to Camino, CA where he continued his love of fishing and golf.
Gale and JoAnne were blessed with a son Todd Morelock, daughter Robin Benson and her husband Gus Benson. Besides his wife JoAnne, Gale leaves 4 priceless grandchildren; Trent, Emily Anne, and Augie Benson; Tyler Morelock and great grandson Noah Morelock.
Funeral services will be private at the San Joaquin Veterans Cemetery.
