A loving husband, father, and grandfather, Joe passed away on Easter Sunday with his family by his side. Joe was a native of Castle Shannon, PA, graduated from Penn State University as an engineer, served in the military during the Korean War. Some years later, he earned an MS from San Jose State University. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Nancy, son Steven (Karen), daughters Lynn Schow (Richard), Caroline Dawson (Barry), Sheila McCarty and eight grandchildren. Before moving to CA in 1960, Joe was employed at Westinghouse Atomic Energy Plant and worked on the first nuclear submarine. He retired from Lockheed and started and operated a successful wholesale seafood business for the last thirty years. He was a devoted family man, also loved fishing, diving and the Sierras. Friends are invited to a funeral mass on Monday, April 8 at 11:00 at St Christopher Church, 1576 Curtner Avenue, San Jose. Donations may be made to the
