Lawrence David "Larry" Pellerin|
Sep. 10, 1956 - Oct. 31, 2013
Resident of Oahu, Hawaii
A friend said "the most loving and caring heart of any man I know." And so it was.
A graduate of Cabrillo High School, Lompoc, California, Larry excelled in varsity water polo. He served two years in the US Navy aboard the USS Kitty Hawk as a launch specialist. After settling in Campbell, Ca., Larry managed Shakey's Pizza before a 20 year career as Manager of Boswell's, bartender at Khartoum, and a great friend to all the countless regulars who will remember him. In 2004 he moved to Hawaii where he found his dream job as starter at Makaha Golf Resort.
His marriage to his best friend Brenda in 2006 was a joyous celebration for all. He was a lover of dogs and a short round of golf. His selflessness in the tender care of his invalid mother-in-law Honey, is an example of the great man Larry was.
He is survived by his loving wife Brenda, stepsons Trent, Tyson, his beautiful step granddaughter Aubree, sister Patsy Scott, brothers Bill, Bobby, Phillip and Michael, niece Chantel, nephews Alex, Erik and David.
On Larry's Caringbridge.org website, friends can view a family video and pay tribute to this wonderful soul! He will be missed.
