Patrick Russell Caprino was born on February 20, 1969 in Mountain View, California. Pat passed away unexpectedly at his home in Salem on October 20, 2012 of a heart attack.
Patrick is survived by his beloved children Mackenzie, Kadin, and step-daughter Megan; his love Carrie Cusimano; his parents Bud and Carol Caprino; his sisters Kimberly (Mark) Kleiner, Kristin (Neil) Connelly; nieces Payton Kailey and nephews Karsten, Kyle and Kameron.
Patrick grew up in San Jose, California and graduated from California Polytechnic State University of San Luis Obispo. Following his graduation Patrick moved to Oregon to seek a career as a firefighter. In August of this year Pat was appointed as the Acting Battalion Chief at Salem Fire Department.
Pat will forever be remembered as a brother, a son, a soul mate, a friend, a leader and a firefighter. But most importantly Pat was a loving father whose children meant more to him than mere words could ever hope to describe.
Services will be held at 11:30 am on Monday October 29, 2012 at the Cusimano Family Colonial Mortuary, 96 W. El Camino Real, Mtn. View, CA 94040. Burial to follow.
In lieu of flowers please make donations at any US Bank branch to "The Patrick Caprino Memorial Fund" to assist in providing Kadin and Mackenzie a college education.
