John F. Jack Chagnon, 74, of Nashua, NH went home to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, February 11, 2013. He was born on July 25, 1938 in Marlborough, MA the son of the late Philias and Madeline (McAllister) Chagnon. Jack was raised and educated in Marlborough, graduating from Marlborough High School. He received is bachelors degree from the University of Miami. Jack served in the US Marine Corps for eight years. He was discharged in 1963 as a Lance Corporal. Mr. Chagnon was a real estate specialist, counselor and worked in restoration and construction. He was active in politics and was a congressional candidate in Florida. One of Jacks greatest joys was his two golden retrievers. Surviving family members include his two brothers, Philip Chagnon of Yarmouth Port, MA and Paul D. Chagnon of Northborough, MA; 3 sisters, Jo Ann Paul of Northborough, MA, Claudette Keevan of Columbia, SC and Virginia Burke of Northborough, MA; 7 nieces and nephews and his great nephew. A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date. Donations in Johns memory can be made to the ASPCA or your local animal shelter.
