Leo H. Fleury, 80, of Bellingham, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at the Ten Broeck Commons, Lake Katrina, NY with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Anne (Haas) Fleury and the late Jeannette (Trottier) Fleury. Born in Bellingham on January 23, 1932, he was the son of the late Herve and Aurore (Gaudette). He was the loving father of Superintendent of Bellingham School District, Edward L. Butch Fleury and his wife, Pauline of Bellingham, and Rick Fleury of New Bedford, MA. He leaves his cherished granddaughter Kristen Fleury of Boston. He was the brother of Eugene Fleury of Bellingham, and leaves his nieces and nephews. A resident of Olive Bridge, NY for the past 12 years and formerly a resident of Bellingham and Florida for most of his life. He was a graduate of Bellingham High School. Mr. Fleury worked for 30 years at General Motors in Framingham until retiring. He was a member of the UAW | United Auto Workers Union, a member of the Woonsocket Elks B.P.O.B. Lodge #850, and the Knights of Columbus. He was an avid motorcyclist and remained a loyal Boston sports fan while residing in New York State. He never forgot his roots as he proudly wore his Red Sox baseball cap daily living amongst a sea of New York sports fans. Devoted to his family and friends, he will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of Leos Life on Saturday, August 25th with a Memorial Service at 11:30AM at Coachmens Lodge Restaurant, 273 Wrentham Road, Bellingham, MA.
