Lyn B. Larson, 71, passed away quietly Sunday evening, April 27, 2014, at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital, with family by her side. Born November 3, 1942 in Framingham, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of Frank A. and Muriel C. (Butler) Larson of Groton. Lyn was educated in Holliston schools, and she married James M. Bray in 1961. Lyn loved the NFL, the Red Sox, reading, gardening, jazz, Jimmy Buffett, the Florida Keys, cats, horses, art, and, most of all, her family. Lyn's passions were shared throughout her life while working with special-needs children, as a sports reporter, as a summer-camp director, and while helping a friend with her floral business. Lyn leaves a daughter, Kathleen Erickson, and her husband, Jan, of Fayetteville, N.C.; a son, James Bray; a brother, Richard, of Belchertown, Mass.; a sister, Lee, of Barre, Vt.; two grandchildren, Haley and Ashley Erickson; and a niece, Sarah Larson, of New York City.
