Raymond Davis Brewer Jr., 88, of Ashland, died peacefully December 24th at his winter home in Bonita Springs, Florida with his daughter Judy Lanigan by his side. Born on September 6, 1925, he was the son of the late Raymond D. Brewer Sr. and Elizabeth (Roberts) Brewer. Raymond spent summers at home in Ashland, MA near his large family. He joined the Navy in 1942 and served four years until 1946. He then worked as a Manufacturing Engineer for many places such as Raytheon, Honeywell, and lastly Storage Tech in Colorado where he lived for 20 years. He was always full of life and ready to party which he did for over 25 years at the "Braceland Family Campout" which he attended every year including this year. He is survived by one brother, Walter Brewer of Ashland, seven children; Janet Polk and her husband Robert of IN, David Brewer and his wife Sheila of NH, Judith Lanigan of Ashland MA, Roy Brewer and his wife Diane of Mendon, MA, Betty Brown and her husband Fred Brown of Worcester, MA, Joanne Sheahan of Marlboro, MA, and Jeffrey Brewer and his wife Karen of Uxbridge, MA, and 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as many special friends from Maine to Florida and Colorado. He is predeceased by 3 brothers; Robert, Charles, and Frank Brewer, and sister Arlene Berry. Donations may be made to the American Red Cross or to a
