Dr. Anthony N. Micelotti of Framingham passed away peacefully January 31, 2014 at St. Patrick's Manor. He was the beloved husband of Ann (Garbarino) Micelotti with whom he shared 60 wonderful years of marriage. He was the loving father of Joan Bruce and her husband Richard, Christine Neal and her husband Jon, the late Anthony Nicholas Micelotti, Jr. and Steven Micelotti. He leaves behind 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by his sister, Marianne Wood. He was born on May 23, 1931 to the late Frank and Caroline (Costrino) Micelotti. He graduated from Milford High School in 1948 where he was honored with an all-star selection in football. He received his B.S. in Biology from Boston College, his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery at the University of Maryland, and his Masters degree in Oral Pediatrics from Tufts School of Graduate Dentistry. Anthony also served as a first army medic during the Korean War. He was an Associate Professor at Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry and served as a clinic director of the Department of Mental Health in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He was a member of many dental societies and associations in addition to being a past president of the Framingham Country Club, and a director and coach of Framingham Pop Warner Football. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday Feb. 6 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Boyle Bros. Funeral Home, 173 Union Ave., Framingham. A funeral Mass will be held Friday Feb. 7 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Bridget's Church, 830 Worcester Rd., (Rte. 9 eastbound) Framingham.
