Budd was called home to be reunited with his wife Elizabeth on Monday, July 7th, 2014.  Our much loved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle was born in Manor, Pennsylvania to Harry and Elizabeth (Templeton) Jones.  While serving his country in the USAF he met and married his wife "Beth" after only ONE date!  It truly was love-at-first-sight!  They were married for 47 years until Beth's death in October, 1999.  Budd grew up in Manor, entered the Air Force in 1949 and served his country honorably during the Korean War.  After his military service he and Beth settled in San Diego, her hometown, moved to Lakewood, CA in 1969 and then to Turlock in 1995 after Beth was diagnosed with Parkinson's.  Budd worked in the aircraft industry the majority of his life; Rohr Corp., Northrup Corp. then retired from Neill Aircraft in Long Beach, CA.  Budd was blessed to spend his final 1 ½ years living with his beloved granddaughter and her husband, Tori and Eric Benton along with their 5 children.  He loved his time with his great grandchildren.
Budd is survived by his sister, Shirley McRoberts of Ceres, his children: Budd A Jones Jr. (Connie) of Montgomery, AL, Cheryl A Silva (Anthony) of Turlock and William E Jones (Danielle) of Oakdale, his 7 grandchildren: Shawna Ghausi (Omar), David Jones (Sara), Tori Benton (Eric), Janice Simons (Josh), Courtney Walton (Robert), Meghann Jones-Anderson (Robert) and Ryan Jones, along with his 12 great grandchildren and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
