Dale, 76 of Oakdale, passed away peacefully at River View Manor, Oakdale, CA, on May 23, 2014.  Celebration of Life will be held on June 12, 2014 at 11 a.m. with a reception following at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 1600 Carver, Modesto, CA.
  Dale was born in Marion, Indiana to Robert and Helen Wolfe. He grew up in the small community of Converse, IN.  After graduating from Converse High School.  He attended and obtained a BS in Dairy Manufacturing from Purdue University in 1959 and a MS in Ag Business from Colorado State University in 1963.  He worked for Bank of America for 30 years as a loan officer, assistant manager and manager.  He also worked as a branch manager for Delta National Bank retiring in 2000. 
  In June, 1964 he married Margaret McNitt of Monte Vista, CO.  The couple have 2 children, Kristie of Carson City, NV, and Rob, of Sterling, CO.
  Dale was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, Oakdale Lions and a 4-H leader for 15 years.  He enjoyed going to animal auctions several times a week, watching college sports on TV, attending local high school sports, fishing, collecting antique banks, square dancing and traveling.  He was very proud of his 3 grandchildren, Macey, Jordan and Katrina Creek. His last trip away from home he was able to attend a sporting event that each child was participating in and was thrilled that they also enjoy sports almost as much as he did.
  He is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Margaret, daughter Kristie (Kieran) Creek, son Rob Wolfe, sister Elizabeth (Jerry) Oren, cousins Norman (Jackie) Wolfe and Nelson (Jean) Wolfe.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
