Warren Peck
December 15, 1944 - November 30, 2013
Warren Peck, 68, entered into rest on November 30, 2013 in Modesto. He was born on December 15, 1944 in Fresno. He is predeceased by his parents Lotie and Paul White. Warren leaves behind his loving wife of 38 years Barbara Peck, and his brother Earl White of Newcastle. He was a member of Modesto Boy Scout Troop 36, achieving the certification of Eagle Scout in 1961. Warren proudly served in the US Army from 1968  -  1971 in the Headquarters of the 1st Brigade, 5th Infantry Division (Red Diamond) in Viet Nam June 1969  -  June 1970. He earned a Bronze Star Medal and Army Commendation Medal. He was a life member of VFW Post 3199 since the 80's, and a member of the American Legion Post 74 for 13 years. He was also a member of the Military Order of the Cootie of the US (PUP Tent CA 068), and a member of Modesto Harley Owners Group for 24 years. He worked for Stanislaus County from 1982  -  2001. Warren loved dogs, Harley motorcycles, and antiquecars. Franklin & Downs Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Peck Family. A visitation is scheduled for Sunday  -  December 8, 2013 from 12:00 P.M.  -  4:00 P.M. at Franklin & Downs Funeral Home  -  1050 McHenry Avenue  -  Modesto, CA 95350.
