Matt Johns
1956 ~ 2013
MONTEREY - Matt died of natural causes on February 8, 2013 while traveling in Peru. He graduated from Gardena High School, Humboldt State University, and Cal Poly- SLO. He also attended UCLA.Matt is survived by Jessica Johns, daughter; Theresa Johns, sister; David and Doug Johns, brothers; and Paula Kuntz, former wife. He was predeceased by his parents, Ruth and Clifford Johns. Matt worked for the Department of Agriculture and other private ag companies. He taught at Seaside High School and was a substitute teacher in the NMCUSD and MPUSD. He participated in the Breakthrough men's groups. Matt was an avid traveler, hiker, scientist, lifelong learner, and writer. Condolences/memoriams may be posted on Legacy.com.
