Macalyn Elizabeth Boyles, age 75, of Cumming, Georgia passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2013 in Atlanta. Macky was born in Chattanooga, TN and attended City High School in Chattanooga and was a member of the Penguin Society. She was a Zeta Tau Alpha at the University of Georgia and retired after 25 years of service from Auburn University at Montgomery as a Student Evaluator. Most recently, Macky was an avid canasta and bunko player with her friends and fellow members of the Windermere Divas. She was a member of Northminster Presbyterian Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Murray Wyche and Florence McClure.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Dr. Wiley R. Boyles of Cumming; son, Bob and daughter-in-law, Janey of Cumming; son, Clay of Johns Creek, GA; granddaughter and husband, Jennifer and Mac Stewart and great-grandchildren, Ally and Dawson Stewart, also of Cumming and brother, Dr. Kerry Wyche of Long Beach, California, along with nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Montreat Conference Center, Montreat, NC, or the Rheumatoid Arthritis Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 2400 Old Alabama Road, Roswell Georgia, 30076, on Monday, May 6 at 2 p.m. Reception to follow.
Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory, Cumming, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
