STUART, Duncan Northcott

Duncan Stuart passed away peacefully in his own bed while his beloved wife of 69 years, M. Rae Stuart, held his hand. Duncan served as an officer of the Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve during World War II. Later in life, he became a successful entrepreneur and businessman. Besides his wife Rae, Duncan is survived by his son, George Stuart, and his grandchildren, Dustin Stuart, Ryan Stuart, and Krista Stuart. He was predeceased by his son, Keith Stuart, and his sister, Elaine Stuart.
A memorial service was held on August 29. Duncan's remains will be interred in Mount Royal Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Mustard Seed Calgary (theseed.ca).
