CONOLEY, Thomas Michael (Mike)
Conoley, Thomas Michael (Mike), of Burlington Ontario, passed away peacefully with his wife by his side at Burloak Long Term Care on Thursday, July 3. He was born on July 31, 1932 in Montreal, the son of Thomas Gamage and Dorothy (Coady) Conoley. Mike is survived by Marie (McCaughey) the love of his life and wife of 58 years, his beloved daughters Susan Hayden (Brian), Karen Conoley (Thomas Hintze), Maureen MacNabb (Larry) and cherished grandchildren Gregory, Katelyn, Daniel, Justin, Sterling, Kiera, Winston, Alexandra, Kelsey, and Samantha. He was predeceased by his adoring son Timothy, cherished granddaughter Amanda Reynolds (Hayden), and loving sisters Maureen Breithaupt and Moira Sinclair. Mike will be remembered by sisters-in-law Shirley Guay (Armand), Eileen McCaughey, MaryAnn Darbelnet (Robert) and brothers-in-law Eddie McCaughey (Gervaise), Kenny McCaughey (Rose), Jack Sinclair (Ingrid Edminson). Mike graduated from Loyola University in 1953 and enjoyed a 35-year long career with Bell Canada in Montreal, Ottawa, Kingston, New York, Saudi Arabia and Hamilton. In addition, he was past Chairman of The United Way of Burlington, Hamilton-Wentworth, Past President of The Rotary Club of Hamilton, a long time parishioner at St Raphael's Catholic Church, a passionate golfer and active member of The Burlington Golf and Country Club. Friends are invited for a Memorial Mass at St Raphael's Catholic Church, 4072 New Street, Burlington on Saturday, July 12 at 10 a.m. A reception will follow at The Burlington Golf and Country Club 422 North Shore Blvd. E.
