Christine Zoumas, 65, formerly of East Windsor, NJ, died on Thursday, June 20, 2013 surrounded by family. Mrs. Zoumas immigrated to the United States from Cyprus when she was 3 years old. She proudly became an American citizen at 12. She was a loyal and loving mother, daughter, sister and had strong family values. She was happiest when she was surrounded by family and friends especially her grandkids, Krystina & Mike. Proud of her large family and her Greek-American Heritage, she was a longtime member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Hamilton, NJ. Mrs. Zoumas worked for McGraw-Hill Publishing Company for 20 years and recently retired from Supermedia where she worked for over 22 years. Christine was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Christodoulou and was married to the late Michael L. Zoumas for over 30 years.

She is survived by her son, Lucas Michael Zoumas, her daughter, Keri Zoumas-Marascio, son-in-law, Joseph A. Marascio, granddaughter, Krystina Elyse Marascio, grandson, Michael Lucas Zoumas, sister, Eve Hartmann, brother-in-law, Rich Hartmann, brother, Dean Christodoulou, sister-in-law Joanne Christodoulou, brother-in-law Peter L. Zoumas and fiancée Sharon, brother-in-law Kim Zoumas and wife Pam, sister-in-law, Anna Tsilionis and brother-in-law Viron Tsilionis, fiancé George Markou, nephews and nieces, SaraRose, Victoria, Emyliane, James, Nikki, Virginia, Stephanie, Paul, Carole S., Joe S., Lucas K., Carmela, Tom T., Gina T., Denise T., Steve S., Loukas P., Mary Z., Kali Z. and Peter Z. and many great nieces, nephews and cousins.

Viewing hours are Wednesday June 26 from 2:00- 4:00 PM and 7:00- 9:00 PM with Trisagion services at 8pm at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 1863 Hamilton Ave., Hamilton, NJ 08619. Visit for additional information. Funeral service will be held at 11am Thursday June 27th at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 1200 Klockner Road, Hamilton, NJ 08619.
