John E. Milochik age 66 of South Amboy passed away Wednesday November 7th 2012 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy. Born in Perth Amboy he has resided in South Amboy since 1974. Mr. Milochik was a 1965 graduate of Perth Amboy High School and served his country in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam War. John was a member and Exempt fireman of Washington Engine Company #2 in Perth Amboy serving as a line officer and treasure for the company for 5 years. He was a member of the South Amboy Elks Lodge 784 and Perth Amboy American Legion Post 45. Mr. Milochik was the owner of Johnny M. Excavating in Perth Amboy for 38 years and later as a heavy equipment operator for L.N. Rothberg & Son in Middlesex for five years.
He is predeceased by his parents John & Marie Ivan Milochik.
Surviving are his wife of 43 years Bonnie Rebak Milochik, his children and their spouses Dawn and Michael Donovan, Tina and Michael Eib, Sherilyn and Sean O'Connell and Jon P. Milochik; his grandchildren Michael Eib, Kristopher O'Connell, Jessica Donovan, Kenneth Eib, Thomas Eib, Patrick (PJ) Donovan, Katelyn O'Connell and Nicole O'Connell; his brother Kenneth J. Milochik and his wife Nancy and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday 4pm at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin. Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Sunday from 2pm to 5pm. Letters of condolence may be sent to the family at www.spezzifuneralhome.com
