AGE: 76 • Plainfield

John Edward LeBeau "Papa," 76, passed October 22, 2013 at the Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ. Born in Boston, MA., he had been a resident of Plainfield for 30 yrs., formerly of Brooklyn, NY. Mr. LeBeau was a retired Gunnery Sergeant 23 yr. veteran of the US Marine Corps, serving 2 tours in the Vietnam War. He was employed by the US Postal Service in Jersey City, NJ 25-yrs before retiring.

Predeceased by his parents, Thomas & Grace LeBeau, son John E. LeBeau Jr. & brothers Ralph, Vernon, & Raymond LeBeau, he is survived by his wife of 55 yrs. Claudetta - Brooklyn, NY, son Curtis (April) - Boston, MA, daughter Michelle - Brooklyn, NY, 15-grandchildren, 6- g.grandchildren, brother Lawrence, sisters Rita & Jacqui LeBeau & Joan (Bill) Hayes - Boston, MA., special friend Jacqueline Casey.
