Richard F. Mozolic, Sr.

AGE: 62 • Edison

Richard F. Mozolic, Sr., 62, of Edison died on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at home.

Born in Perth Amboy, he was a lifelong Edison resident and a communicant of St. Matthew's RC Church in Edison. Richard was a Proud US Marine Corp Veteran of Vietnam and a member of American Legion Father and Son Post in Edison. He was the owner and operator of Stone Age Construction. Richard enjoyed gardening, was an avid fisherman, loved to go crabbing and spending time with his dog Buddy.

He was predeceased by his wife Carol Ann (Butkiewicz); his parents John P. Jr. and Margaret; his brother John P. III; his mother-in-law Anna Butkiewicz and brother-in-law John Butkiewicz. Surviving are his son Richard F. Jr.; three daughters Anne Lucas, Caroline and Christine Mozolic; his father-in-law Felix J. Butkiewicz; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Edward and Jacquelyn Butkiewicz; brothers-in-law Russell Cackowski and Paul Butkiewicz; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation is Tuesday, June 24, 2014 from 4-8 PM at the Costello-Runyon Funeral Home 568 Middlesex Ave. (RT 27) Metuchen. Services will be held on Wednesday at 8:45 from the Funeral Home, followed by a 9:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Matthew's RC Church, Edison.
