Ronald R. Larsen

AGE: 81 • Monroe Township

Ronald R. Larsen Passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge Division with his loving family at his side. He was 81 years old.

Born in Perth Amboy, Mr. Larsen resided in Woodbridge for many years before moving to Monroe Township 27 years ago.

He was employed for 27 years as a police officer with the Woodbridge Police Department before retiring in 1987; and worked part time for Anderson TV and Radio in Perth Amboy. He had previously worked at Interboro Trucking in Metuchen and, after retiring, worked for Professional Security as a guard at The Ponds and Clearbrook communities in Monroe Township.

Mr. Larsen was a veteran of the United States Air Force and belonged to Policemen's Benevolent Association #38, Woodbridge.

He was predeceased by his parents, Rose and Rudolph Larsen; and a sister, Geraldine Lochli.

Ronald was the faithful husband to Yvonne Jugan Larsen for 52 years; loving father of Robin Larsen-Sypniewski and her husband, Richard Sypniewski, of Woodbridge and Kimberley Wisneski and her husband, Richard, of Hopelawn; proud grandfather of Richard Wisneski and Sammantha Sypniewski; and was also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services will take place on Monday, December 30, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (www.costello-greiner.com), 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1:00 until 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
