Rudolph "Rudy" J. Bixby

AGE: 84 • Redington, FL

Rudolph (Rudy) J. Bixby, 84, passed peacefully at home on Friday, May 16, 2014 in Redington, Fla. He was an avid hunter, basketball referee and enjoyed bowling, playing cards and loved his family. He was also a member of the Catholic War Veterans in Hopelawn. After serving in the Army during the Korean War, he was employed by PSE&G until his retirement.

Rudy was predeceased by his father, Oscar; mother, Margaret; sister, Ruth and brothers, Earl and Albert. He is survived by his wife, Eleanor of 60 years; his four children, Ron and his wife Ginger, Bruce and Linda, Jody, Rudy Jr., and daughter-in-laws, Barbara and Pat. He will be lovingly remembered by his nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces,

A memorial visitation will be held 11 AM - 2 PM on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords with a service at 1:30 PM.
