Mitchel Jasper Harrelson

Mitchel Jasper Harrelson, 50, of Bay Forge Road, died Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at his residence.
Mr. Harrelson was born in Fort Worth, TX, a son of the late William James Harrelson and Aaltje Tryntje Van Der Vlies King. He was owner and operator of Arrow Service Company of the Grand Strand. Mr. Harrelson was a member of Socastee Baptist Church. He served in the Coast Guard Auxillary and was a former volunteer fire fighter with the HCFR Socastee Station. Mr. Harrelson was preceded in death by a brother, James.
Surviving are his wife, Susan Evans Harrelson of Myrtle Beach; one son, Thomas James Harrelson of Myrtle Beach; two daughters, Sally Nicole Harrelson and Anna Grace Harrelson both of Myrtle Beach; one brother, Kirby Harrelson and wife Melody of Columbia; six nephews, Jeffrey McMillan, Evan Harrelson, Harvey Kimble, Bratton Harrelson, Jordan Harrelson and Joshua Harrelson all of Columbia, SC; and his step-mother, Ruth Harrelson of Loris.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday at Socastee Baptist Church with Rev. Micah Lane officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery in Columbia, SC on Saturday at 12:00 PM.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
