McCLAIN

David Allen McClain 66, of Independence, Kentucky passed away Monday, February 24, 2014 at St. Elizabeth, Edgewood. He was a Welder at Walcolmonoy. David was an Army Veteran and served in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Eggleston United Methodist Church and had a lifetime avid love of music and Sang with the New Gospel Family. David had a strong devotion and love of God and his faith. He was preceded in death by his parents James & Pauline McClain. He leaves behind his Wife Kellie McClain. Daughter Jennifer Wagner (& Harry Spark) and a Stepson David Shumate. Sisters Brenda "Schnitzler" McClain and Darlene (& Ron) Thomas. Brothers Dale McClain, Patrick (& Cheryl)McClain and Darryl McClain (& Kim Brun). Grandchildren Alexander McClain, Chad & Colten Wagner and Christian & Joshua Pollitt. Sister in Laws Karen Hendericks, Kathy Vaske and Lois Schoulties. Brother in Law Ron Black. A host of Nieces & Nephews, Great Nieces & Nephews and many friends. A Visitation will be held at Cooper Funeral Home in Alexandria, KY on Friday, February 28, 2014 from 5-7pm with Funeral Services beginning at 7pm. A private Burial will be private. Memorials are suggested to the Melbourne United Methodist, 1011 Mary Ingles Hwy, Melbourne, KY 41059 or Eggleston United Methodist Church 1961 Bullock Pen Road, Independence, KY 41017.
