Jack Herman Dierig,
83, of Highland Heights, passed away on Thursday, June 26th at St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood. He was a proud Navy veteran of the Korean War and was a retired printer with French Bauer Dairy- Cincinnati and maintenance man with Mike Finks. Jack loved his family and all the special outings with them, including spending time at the rivercamp for many cookouts, and summer parties with the neighbors. He was also an avid golfer, baseball player and bowler. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Harry & Elizabeth Dierig; brothers, Dick, Bob, Jim, Ron and Paul Dierig; sisters, Marion McCoy, Shirley Ford, Mary Lou Brooks, Claire Dierig & Winona Dierig and aunt, Barb Dierig. Jack is survived by his wife, Joan Dierig (nee. Sandfoss) of Highland Heights; sons, John Michael Dierig of Loveland and Greg (Jean) Dierig of Wichita Falls, TX; daughters, Bonnie (Rodney) Born of San Angelo, TX and Donna (Myron) Born of Camp Springs; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. Visitation will be held from 3-6 p.m., Sunday, June 29th at Dobbling Funeral Home, Ft. Thomas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 30th at St. Joseph Church, Cold Spring with the burial to follow at St. Stephen Cemetery, Ft. Thomas.
