Joseph B. Emminger, age 79, of Taylor Mill, went home to be with the Lord at 2:05 am on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood surrounded by his family. Joe was a wonderful husband, father, grandpa and great grandpa who saw the best in everyone. He was a hard worker and could fix anything. He liked woodworking, especially making Christmas cribs. Joe was an avid sports fan who liked the Bellevue Tigers, Cincinnati Reds and Bengals, Kentucky Wildcats, horseshoes, bowling and loved watching his grandchildren playing sports, never missing a game. He was member of the Bellevue Vets, Catholic Order of Foresters, American Legion #203 in Latonia, General Electric Retirees and Union Local #647. Joe was a Korean Army Veteran. He worked over 30 years as a jet assember at General Electric. His son, Joey Emminger preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Joyce Arnzen Emminger; son, Tim (Terri) Emminger; daughters, Mary Jo (Mike) Murphy and Joyce (Mike) Duve; sisters, Bertha Fries and Rita Prim; brother, Raymond Emminger; 8 Grandchildren , 23 Great Grandchildren and 14 foster children. Visitation 4 pm to 8 pm on Thursday, May 2nd at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, 427 S. Ft. Thomas Ave., Fort Thomas. Mass 10:00 am on Friday, May 3rd at St. Patrick Church, Taylor Mill.
