Nicholas Alan Boberg , 68, of Cold Spring, passed away January 30, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospice Center in Ft. Thomas. He was a Meat Cutter with Meijer Super Market in Cold Spring and worked for Avrils Meats in Cincinnati, also was the former owner and operator of The Butcher Shop in Bellevue, a member of Mother of God Church and a Navy Veteran. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Claire Boberg and LaVerne Schute, brothers, Ken and Rick Boberg. Nicholas is survived by his Wife, Sharon, son Tom (Beate) Boberg of Bellevue, KY, daughters, Molly (Kevin) Rand of Indianapolis, IN and Nichol Boberg of Wilder, KY, sisters, Sr Joan Marie Boberg CDP of Melbourne, KY, Rose Welscher of Cold Spring, KY, Diane Beck of Cincinnati, OH, Pam Wagner of Melbourne, KY and Lynn Mowery of Cold Spring, KY, brothers, Jack and Dan Boberg both of Cold Spring, KY and Steve Boberg of Tucson, AZ, also surviving are his loving grandcchildren, Zachery, Wyatt, Dayne, Alexa, Quincy and great grandchildren Haidyn and Logyn. Visitation 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday, February 3, 2014 at the Dobbling, Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Bellevue. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12 noon Tuesday, February 4, 2014, at Mother of God Church in Covington. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill.
