Robert A. Brunson 90, of Highland Heights, passed away on July 12, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Fort Thomas, KY. Mr. Brunson retired as the plant engineer for Interlake Steel. Graduate of Bellevue High School and the University of Kentucky where he received his B.S. in Civil Engineering. Member of St. Therese Church, Southgate where he was a member of the Holy Name Society, D.A.V., Volunteer at the VA in Fort Thomas, One of the Founders of the Bellevue Vets, Mulloy Council of the Knights of Columbus, Avid Golfer with the Seniors at AJ Jolly Golf Course, loved to swm at the YMCA of Fort Thomas, and a WWII Navy Veteran. He was born July 2, 1923 in Dayton, KY to the late Chester Brunson and Lucille Geis Brunson. Preceded in death by his Sister, Jane Cavana. Survived by his Wife of 65 years, Honey (nee Back) Brunson of Highland Heights, KY, Daughter, Mary Ann (Michael) Fey of Columbia, SC, Sons, Robert (Vicky) Brunson Jr. of Cincinnati, OH, Kenneth (Darcee) Brunson of Raleigh, NC, Thomas (Pam) Brunson of Bluffton, SC, and Stephen (Kelly) Brunson of Ft. Wright, KY, 9 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at the St. Therese Church, Southgate, Kentucky, with Rev. Clarence J. Heitzman, officiating. Burial will take place in the St. Stephen Cemetery, Fort Thomas, Kentucky.
