William "Bill" Creutzinger, 89, of Villa Hills and formerly of Bromley died Saturday evening at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Edgewood. He was a retired Revenue Agent for the I.R.S., following his long career from the I.R.S., he then worked at CINFED Credit Union as a loan officer. Mr. Creutzinger used the GI Bill to attend and receive his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Cincinnati in accounting and his Master's Degree from Xavier University. He served his country as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army during W.W. II, seeing action in New Guinea, the Philippines and other islands in the Pacific. Mr. Creutzinger played on Ludlow High's 1942 undefeated Football team and was inducted into the Ludlow High School Sports Hall of Fame. He was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ, Bromley, and a member of the Bromley Vets, the Ludlow Vets and the West Covington VFW. He enjoyed boating, fishing, traveling and was a faithful UK football and basketball fan. Mr. Creutzinger was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Bessie McLaughlin Creutzinger; two brothers, Albert and Donald Creutzinger; two sisters, Eleanor Drohan and Dorthy Siefert. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, LaJean Gilliard Creutzinger; a brother, Bob (wife Gail) Creutzinger of Villa Hills and many nieces and nephews. Visitation 4-7 pm Thursday at the MIDDENDORF-BULLOCK FUNERAL HOME, LUDLOW. Ludlow and Bromley Vets Memorial Service will be at 6:30 pm Thursday. Funeral services 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Erlanger.
