William Donald Martin , 79 of Covington, passed away on October 18, 2013 at Providence Pavilion, Covington, KY. Don was a hairdresser. Co-Owner of the Penny Pincher, Erlanger where he remodeled furniture, new and used. Graduate of Ludlow High School 1953 where he was class president. Don called Bingo at the Providence Pavilion where he was known as "Bingo Don". US Navy Veteran. Don was born August 13, 1934 in Covington, KY to Harry Martin and Geneva True Martin. He was preceded in death by his Brothers, Robert and Gordon Martin. Also his niece Jean Anne. Survived by his Cousin, Sr. Viola Martin of Melbourne, KY, Nephew, Ed (Dinah) Martin of Lakeside Park, KY, Sister-in-law, Thelma Martin of Atlanta, Ga. Also nieces Roberta Lee, Linda, and Mary Beth. Nephews, Michael, Phillip, Jeff, Scottie, Doug, David, and Steve. Visitation 10:00 am to 11:00 am, Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at St. Benedict Church, 338 E. 17th. Street, Covington, KY. 41014. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, October 23, 2013, at the St. Benedict Church, Covington, Kentucky, with Rev. Ryan Maher, officiating. Burial will take place in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Erlanger, Kentucky. Memorials are suggested to the Providence Pavilion, 401 E. 20th. Street, Covington, KY. 41014.
