DANIEL G. KASPRZAK SCHERERVILLE, IN
June 6, 2014 on the 70th Anniversary of D-Day invasion our strong, brave loved one Daniel G. Kasprzak at the age of 62 was called home. A Viet Nam Veteran (Medic) awarded three Purple Heart’s, Dan will be placed to rest at Arlington National Cemetery in 2015. As his final selfless act Dan was an organ and tissue donor; helping the lives of 100 others. He was a member of The Order of the Purple Heart, 101st Screaming Eagles and Lion’s Club. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. at Holy Shepherd Lutheran Church on Keilman Street in St. John, IN. A Re-Birth and Celebration of Dan’s life with a Military Honor Guard Ceremony will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Prairie West Park St. John, IN from noon - 4:00 p.m., lunch served please bring a side dish, chairs, coolers, outdoor games. Dan is survived by his wife Dawn (Blankinship); his children Jay (Brooke Shumaker) and Janae (Chuck Prince) and four grandchildren: Chase and Reese Kasprzak, Liliana and Owen Daniel Prince, his brother Michael and sister Theresa Dye, nephews, nieces, and many cousins and friends. Dan was preceded in death by his loving parents Francis G. and mother Patricia (Stump).
