PAUL E. BREDESEN SCHERERVILLE, IN
Paul E. Bredesen, age 68, of Schererville, IN passed away November 4, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Janice, of 39 years; two sons: Jason (Mindy) Bredesen and Justin Bredesen; one granddaughter, Alivia; one brother, Chuck (Bonni) Bredesen; one sister, Maude (Bill) Hooper; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: George and Anne Bredesen. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 11, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Rd. (two blocks south of Ridge Rd.), Highland, IN with Randy Harrison, Minister officiating. Burial to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, November 10, 2013 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Paul loved to golf, bowl, and spend time with his granddaughter. He worked for NiSource for over 35 years. Paul was a U.S. Army veteran during the Vietnam era. He graduated from Purdue University. Paul was a pack leader for Cub Scouts and Little League coach for both of his sons. He served as president of the Lake Central High School Band Boosters for two years and was highly involved in band activities. Paul played dartball with his father in the Hammond Dartball League through First United Methodist Church for over 10 years. He was a very loving and compassionate man who always had a smile on his face with an outgoing and wonderful personality. www.kuiperfh.com
