ROBERT L. OZELIE, SR. HAMMOND, IN
Robert L. Ozelie, Sr. of Hammond died July 12, 2013. He was born July 26, 1932 and lived in Hammond, IN for 80 years, and recently moved to Wisconsin to be with his family and grandchildren. Survivors include his son, Robert (Gina) L. Ozelie Jr. of Sayner, WI; three grandchildren: Ryan and Briana Ozelie of Sayner, WI, and Stephanie Ozelie of Lake Station, IN; dear friends: Robert and Christy Garcia of Portage, IN who were with him through his final journey in life. He was preceded in death by his sister, Susan Morris of Indiana; and daughter, Kim Ozelie. Robert was a U.S. Army Corporal in the Korean War and served in the 73rd Heavy Tank Battalion. He will be greatly missed. A memorial visitation will be held at the American Legion, 7485 Burr St., Schererville, IN Saturday, August 3, 2013 from 3:00-6:00 p.m. Online condolences may be expressed at gaffney-busha.com.
