Thomas M. Kluga Jr., age 87, of Highland, passed away on March 31, 2013. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gloria (Prusiecki) Kluga; daughter, Gayle Dean; parents: Thomas and Rosemarie Kluga; stepmother, Helen Kluga; brother, Donald; and sister, Mary Ann. Thomas is survived by his son, Jeffery (Joy) Kluga; daughters: Karen (Thomas) Yantis, and Claudia LaFave; sisters: Dolores "Dolly" Bialon, Irene Panek, and Florence Dent; nine grandchildren; two great granddaughters; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held at Fagen-Miller Funeral Home, 2828 Highway Ave., Highland, IN on Friday, April 5, 2013 from 10:00-11:30 a.m. with a Funeral Mass at 12:00 noon at Our Lady of Grace Church. Burial at Chapel Lawn Cemetery in Schererville, IN. Tom and his wife were self-employed appliance retailers in Highland for 20 + years. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Grace Church, a member of the American Legion Post 369 East Chicago, and a WWII veteran. Tom enjoyed traveling in his RV, fishing, and sharing stories and laughs with family and friends. He was a kind-hearted jokester with a great love for life.
