Zachery Sean Green, age 25, of Valparaiso, IN, passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2013. Zachery was the first son of Kevin and Sandra Green, and brother of Jordan Green. He is also survived by his loving grandparents: Edward and Imelda Nowesnick, Carolyn and Jerry Funes, Lavon Green, and the late Dr. Jack Green; his many aunts, uncles and cousins including: Jim and Andrea Sebben and their daughter, Michele, Tom and Monica Nowesnick and their children, Lucas and Natalie, Jerry Nowesnick and his sons, Brian and Michael, Bryce and Vanessa Welty and their sons, Parker, Max and Xavier, Jason and Summer Green and their daughters, Kelsey and Charlotte, and many others. Zach had a huge cadre of family and friends who will all miss him dearly and who will keep him in their hearts forever. Zachery was born in Valparaiso on August 28, 1987. He was a 2006 graduate of Wheeler High School and a 2011 graduate of Indiana University. Zach was employed by Small Business Transportation of Valparaiso. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. Zach was a vibrant man, full of life and laughter, and was loved by all he touched. Zach will live on by his wonderful gift of organs to "Gift of Hope". A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 4, 2013 at 10:00 AM directly at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 509 W. Division Road, Valparaiso with Rev. Douglas J. Mayer officiating. Friends may meet with the family on Sunday, March 3, 2013 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at Geisen Funeral and Cremation Services, 7905 Broadway, Merrillville, IN and on Monday at the church from 9:00 AM until the time of Mass. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home on Sunday at 6:00 PM.
