BRILOFF--Abraham J. The City University of New York mourns the passing of Abraham J. Briloff, Ph.D, City College/Baruch College alumnus, who joined the Baruch College accounting faculty in 1944. He was named Emanuel Saxe Distinguished Professor of Accountancy in 1976, a title he held until his death. He served as a trustee of the Baruch College Fund from 1969 to 1974. Deeply concerned about the integrity of the accounting profession, he was the author of four influential books and dozens of important articles for Barron's Magazine and accounting journals. We offer our deepest condolences to his daughters Lenore Briloff and Alice Ebenstein, and a granddaughter. Benno Schmidt, Chairman, Board of Trustees William P. Kelly Interim Chancellor
