ALLEN BOYD Obituary

BOYD--Allen Richards (Dick). 80, of Sarasota, FL, died on August 22. He was the son of John Ritchie and Mary Juliet Williams Boyd of Mt. Kisco, NY. He graduated from Princeton in 1955, served as Naval Intelligence Officer until 1959, and received his MA in Advanced International Studies from Johns Hopkins in 1960. His calm demeanor, determined optimism, and wry sense of humor will be missed. He is survived by his wife, Candace; his children from his first marriage, Scott, Chris, Stephanie, Rebecca, Robert, and Peter; a sister, Juliet Patterson; a brother, Edgar (Bill) Boyd; and thirteen grandchildren.
