SKOLNICK--Allen. American Friends of The Hebrew University (AFHU) and The Hebrew University of Jerusalem mourn the passing of our dear friend Allen Skolnick, loving husband of the late Connie Skolnick, cherished father of Mitchel, Barry and the late Rand Skolnick, devoted brother of Edward Skolnick, and proud grandfather to Ryan, Matthew and Jacob. A dynamic leader in the health and nutrition industries, Allen founded Solgar Vitamin and Herb Company. He was equally committed to Israel and the nation's scientific achievement, establishing Cambr Foundation Fellowships in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology at Hebrew University's Harvey M. Krueger Family Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. Inscribed on the Wall of Life at Mount Scopus, the Cambr Foundation reflects the ideals of Allen and Connie, whose love for each other and concern for humanity illuminated their shared lives. We extend our deepest sympathies to Mitchel, Barry and the entire Skolnick family. May they be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem. The Hebrew University of Jerusalem Professor Menahem Ben-Sasson, President American Friends of The Hebrew University George A. Schieren, Chairman Martin E. Karlinsky, President Peter T. Willner, National Executive Director
