LEONE--Dr. Armand F., 90, of Franklin Lakes passed away on April 28, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Dr. Rita Girolamo-Leone (2007). Born in Paterson he lived in Glen Rock before moving to Franklin Lakes in 1963. He served his country honorable in World War II and as a Captain in the United States Army in the Korean War. He graduated St. Peter's University and New York Medical College. He trained at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital and was a Radiologist at Paterson General and Wayne General Hospital until his retirement in 2004. A Fellow of the American College of Radiology, American College of Nuclear Medicine, American College of Breast Cancer and American College of Ultrasonography. Armand was a parishioner of St. Gerard's Roman Catholic Church in Paterson. Beloved father of Mark, Peter and Armand, devoted father-in-law of Jane, Marcella and Alison, loving grandfather of Christina, Peter, Michael, Matthew, Mark, David and James, dear brother of Alberino Leone and unwavering friend to all. He gave without limitation to everyone he met in his life. The family will receive family and friends on Thursday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes. Funeral Services Friday 10:30am at the funeral home followed by an 11:00am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony's R.C. Church, Hawthorne. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
