CRARY--Calvert Douglas, 69, died on Saturday April 6th, 2013 in Waccabuc, New York. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, he was born in New York City on October 11, 1943. He grew up in Scarsdale, New York, attended Edgemont High School and Deerfield Academy, received a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan, and a law degree from Northwestern Law School. Crary was the sole litigation analyst on Wall Street for many decades, producing the highly-influential newsletter "Litigation Review" and later "Litigation Notes" continuously for over 30 years. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Schmidt Crary; three children, Gretchen P. Crary, John F. Crary and Calvert H. Crary II; and six grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held at the Mead Memorial Chapel in Waccabuc. Memorial donations may be made to the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
