COHEN--Carole G. The leadership, staff and extended family of The Arnold P. Gold Foundation mourn the loss of Carole G. Cohen, wife of the Chair of our Board of Trustees, Jordan J. Cohen, MD. Carole, who spent her career in university advancement work and non-profit management, was a great friend to the Foundation. She believed deeply in the values and mission of The Gold Foundation, which strives to ensure that healthcare professionals are as caring as they are scientifically excellent. As a volunteer for the Foundation, she had a unique ability to see opportunities and pursue them with great, good-natured persistence. She lit up the room with her joy, and when she laughed, we all laughed with her. We extend our heartfelt condolences to her husband Jordan, their children, Deborah Rappaport (Andy), Joel Cohen (Mavis Prall Cohen), and David Cohen (Suzy Friedman Cohen), their eight grandchildren and the entire Cohen family. Donations in her name can be made to the Carole G. Cohen Fund for Humanism in Medicine at The Arnold P. Gold Foundation. Richard I. Levin, MD, President &CEO
