After a long and courageous battle, Diane succumbed to complications from cancer on September 13, 2013 at home in Austin, Texas surrounded by her loving family and friends. A graduate of The Kinkaid School in Houston, The University of Virginia at Charlottesville and The Parsons School of Design in New York City, Diane enjoyed a successful and creative career in film production, media and advertising. Diane embraced her life and friends to the fullest. Her curiosity was boundless and her sense of humor a joy to us all. Preceded in death by her beloved father Murray, Diane is survived by her mother Jan of La Jolla, CA, her sister Caroline and brother Douglas of Denver, CO. To those friends who were able to visit Diane thank you again for coming together to remind us of how special our beloved Diane has been to so many people. You all made Diane's life so rich and exciting we are forever grateful. As Diane wished, her ashes will be offered to the Pacific Ocean at La Jolla, California following a family service. A celebration of Diane's life will be held in Austin, Texas later this fall. Contributions in Diane's name to the Breast Cancer Research Center of Austin www.bcrc.org would be most welcome.Audentes Fortuna Juvat
