de La CHAPELLE--Don C. A native New Yorker, graduate of Horace Mann and Princeton University, went to his eternal home with Jesus on June 21st; which was also his 61st wedding anniversary with his bride Peggy. Don worked in the travel industry throughout his career; starting with Pan American Airways, then onto Atlas Travel in Houston and finally Navigant Travel in Houston until his retirement. Don was an avid gardener, faithful volunteer to various ministries, and a loyal fan of baseball. He is best known for his positive attitude in life, a great sense of humor, his faith in God and his deep love for his wife and family. Don leaves behind his wife, daughter, son, daughter-in-law and six grandchildren who will miss him the rest of their lives! A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday July 20th at 10am at Memorial Drive United Methodist Church in Houston, Texas.
