BRONFMAN--Edgar M. Hillel: The Foundation for Jewish Campus Life joins the many sorrowful voices in the global Jewish community and sends it heartfelt condolences to the family of our dear friend Edgar M. Bronfman. A legend not only in business, but also in philanthropy, Edgar was essential as the founding chair of Hillel's International Board of Governors in the transformation and renaissance at Hillel. His good deeds have touched the hearts and souls of hundreds of thousands of Jewish students. He was an exemplary Jewish leader and humanitarian. A giant among men in all that he did. A man of courage and integrity with a generous spirit, wisdom and kindness. His legacy will be carried on in the many Jewish lives he has inspired. Our condolences go to Jan, Charles, Matthew, Adam and the rest of the Bronfman family. May they be comforted among the other mourners of Zion and Jerusalem. May his memory be a comfort and blessing. Randall Kaplan, Chair of Intl Board of Governors; Sidney Pertnoy, Chair of Intl Board of Directors; Eric D. Fingerhut, President and CEO, Hillel Intl.
