LAUTENBERG--Senator Frank. Family man, Friend, Statesman. We were fortunate to have known and been touched by a great, special and just man. When we once asked Frank to define his political philosophy, he answered that it is how he would define his life - in a word, "Progressive." He was, indeed, always in the forefront, ahead of his time in business and in his politics, a visionary with a humane touch. He always considered and fought for those who were less fortunate, using his wealth and power to benefit the many. We learned so much from him and will miss him greatly. To his wife, Bonnie, his children and grandchildren, we remember the many times Frank spoke of his love for all of you and of your prominent presence in his heart and spirit. We, like you, will deeply miss him but we all should be comforted in the knowledge that he will live on through his great deeds and as a large part of our memories as he lived large in our lives.
