PARSONS--J. Lester III, died at his home in Vero Beach, FL on March 21. Jay was born in Orange, NJ in 1940. He graduated from The Choate School in 1957, Princeton University in 1961 and Harvard Law School in 1964. He also received a Masters Degree in Tax Law from NYU and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson. A brilliant and generous man, Jay gave selflessly of his time and talents to many community, charitable and educational institutions in Bernardsville, NJ, Fishers Island, NY and Vero Beach, FL. He was an accomplished private pilot and sailor. Jay is survived by his wife, Nancy; his four children, Emily, Josh, Sahler and Chas; two step children, Tanis and Rob; seven grandchildren, two step grandchildren; and, one sister, Lucille and one step sister Margot. Jay's first wife, Stella, predeceased him. Donations in Jay's name may be made to the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, FL.
