NAMROW--James Arnold, 60, died peacefully at home after a long, brave fight with cancer. Jim graduated from Beloit College and from Columbia University where he received his doctorate in American History. Jim taught at Columbia University and John Jay College. He is the beloved husband of Linda and brother of Andy, Tony and Laurel. Services will be held on August 1 at noon at Plaza Jewish Community Chapel in Manhattan at 91st Street and Amsterdam Avenue.
