SULLIVAN--John J., of Middlebury, VT formerly of Sleepy Hollow NY, died peacefully Saturday November 9th. Born in 1931, he graduated from Cathedral College in 1951 and The University of Notre Dame in 1953. In 1955, John married Madeline Connelly. He joined Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company's executive training program in 1956, becoming Senior VP and deputy GM, and the officer-in-charge of the North American Division's National Corporate Group, retiring in 1987. That same year he joined the Long Term Credit Bank of Japan, Ltd as a Joint GM of the New York Branch and Executive VP of LTCB Trust Company, truly retiring in 1999. John had memberships at Sleepy Hollow CC and the former Sky Club in New York City, and volunteered on Boards at Marymount Preparatory School and The Church of the Magdalene. He is survived by his wife, daughters Jeanne Sullivan, and Madeline Sullivan-Drake of VT and eight grandchildren. He is predeceased by his daughter Joanne, and son John. Visitation is Friday, November 15th from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm at Coffey Funeral Home, Tarrytown, NY. Funeral Mass is Saturday at 11am at Church of the Magdalene. Burial at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
