ANNENBERG--Leonore. The Chapin School community is deeply saddened by the death of Leonore Annenberg, a Chapin grandmother and the school's friend and most generous benefactor. Mrs. Annenberg and her late husband Ambassador Walter H. Annenberg made many gifts to the school, including Chapin's beautiful, spacious library and multimedia center, which is named in their honor. Mrs. Annenberg, by her commitment and generosity, helped to ensure our school's mission to always provide the highest-quality education for our students. She will be greatly missed, but her influence on Chapin will be felt for generations to come. We extend our profound sympathy to her daughter, Elizabeth Kabler, a Chapin trustee from 1992 to 2005; to her granddaughter Elizabeth, a member of Chapin's Class of 2001; and to the entire Annenberg family. Ella M. Foshay, Chair of the Board of Trustees Cera B. Robbins, Trustee Emerita Dr. Patricia T. Hayot, Head of School
